Capri was my doula for my fifth pregnancy. Since I’d been through it 4 times already and never had a doula before, I wasn’t sure exactly what I could even use help with. We met a few times before I went into labor and we went through how she could help and how involved I wanted her to be. She listened and followed through with exactly what I needed and wanted. She was able to help me through laboring and advocating for me at my hospital birth. I have now had 6 births and my 5th was by far the smoothest and easiest. I am positive it was because of Capri. We had moved away before I had my 6th and my first thought was that I was sad I wouldn’t be able to have Capri involved again. I can only imagine how wonderful she is as a midwife, but I would recommend her 100% to anyone!

My family desired to have a home birth and Capri delivered. She was hands on, attentive & super supportive. She made home visits a breeze and listened to my needs. She encouraged my other children to be involved during appointments, even when I was overwhelmed she remained patient with them. I wasn't forced to do anything outside of what I wanted. I'm super happy my birth plan remained intact. She encouraged me when I felt like giving up. The joy in the room when I delivered speaks volumes. Her excitement when baby boys was revealed (surprise gender) was heartwarming. The aftercare I received was amazing. She cleaned up, I was showered and tucked into bed with out new bundle. Than you Capri for helping bring out sweet boy Earth side!

As a first time mom it was my dream to have a water birth in my home, and Capri made the entire process so easy. She gave me incredible tips throughout the pregnancy and birth, and continued into postpartum. I knew I was in great hands. She answered all of my questions and eased my concerns during pregnany. After I had my daughter, she helped m e navigage breastfeeding. She was an incredible midwife, and I would absolutely recommend her for any other expecting mothers!

Working with Capri was a great experience. She has a wonderful mix of personal warmth and professionalism. Having appointments in our home was great, especially since our toddler could “help” and we didn’t need to find childcare during the appointments. She was very knowledgeable and also didn’t hesitate to recommend more information from an OB when warranted. That gave us a lot of confidence in pursuing home birth, and we’re very glad Capri was on the journey with us.

Capri is a wonderful midwife! She was amazingly professional and compassionate throughout the whole process, from the prenatal, through my daughter's birth, and in postpartum. I'm a first time mom and had a thousand questions and worries. She was great at walking me through what I was going through, and what to expect. During labor she stayed compassionate, and attentive through the intenseness of the labor process. (Including my 3am false alarm, a few days prior!) If I decide to have another baby, I would have complete faith in Capri to be my midwife, and would highly recommend her to any mom that wants to go with a midwife! ~Willow
